I mean, you see celebrities like Jennifer Lopez sporting these amazing toned midriffs that it makes you wonder what their secret is. It turns out we have to first and foremost look at our diets.

A healthy diet is key to achieving flat abs and without it every other crunch, sit up, or plank is ineffective. After all abs are made in the kitchen, not in the gym and if you aren't watching what you eat, you can forget about ever seeing those hiddne abs. And we don't want that!

If you hate exercising then this flat ab strategy is perfect for you since all you have to do is eat! Consume these foods and watch that abdominal fat melt off. Of course if you DO exercise, you will see results much quicker and you'll be able to sport your sexy new look at the beach!

Make almonds an everyday food staple: Almonds are filled with fiber, vitamin E, and magnesium. The magnesium is an important mineral that stabilizes your blood sugar and prevents you from overeating. Even better, it's the only nut that blocks your body from absorbing excessive fat!

Have eggs for breakfast: Eggs are not only cheap, but they are an effective way to get your daily dose of protein. Studies have shown if you eat them first thing in the morning, your appetite gets suppressed and they keep you fuller longer.

Snack on apples: It's easy to underestimate the power or such a simple fruit. But apples provide you with over five grams of fiber and due to its heavy water content, keep your body feeling fuller longer.

Keep yogurt on hand: Plain or low-fat yogurt contains probiotics that our bodies need to keep our digestive tract healthy. This keeps it bloat-free, regular, and keeps your stomach looking trim. Sweeten your yogurt with some fresh berries for an even greater fat burning snack. Berries keep you fuller longer and help you absord less calories in a meal.

Drink more water and green tea: Drinking water daily and often will keep bloating at bay and can even keep cravings from occurring. Often times when we think we are hungry, it's our body telling us we're thirsty.  Finally green tea can help boost your metabolism by four to ten percent.
