It does not have to be summer for you to enjoy a delicious glass of sangria or two. The classic drink has become a staple at outdoor gatherings during the warm months. But sangria is also a crowd-pleaser at winter celebrations, including around the holidays. So why not whip up a batch or a few to share with friends and loved ones this season?

Apple cider sangria is divine.

This apple cider sangria is made with sliced pears, sliced apples, lemon wedges, pomegranate seeds, apple cider, apple whiskey, brandy, sparkling wine, cinnamon sticks, and star anise. It's beautiful to look at and tastes divine.

Green apple sangria is yummy.

Nothing will impress your guests more than this beautiful and refreshing green sangria. Of course, the longer the mixture sits, the better it gets. Combine two Granny Smith apples with one cucumber, 1/4 cup mint, a bag of green grapes (cut in half), and fresh lime juice. Then pour in your favorite pinot grigio.

Mango pineapple sangria is a great blend.

This is the perfect fruit combination! The color will also put you in the mood to watch a summer sunset. Grab a pitcher and mix in one bottle (500 ml) of sweet muscat wine, 2 cups cubed pineapple, one cubed mango, one bottle of brut cava, and slices of mango to garnish.

Grapefruit and strawberry sangria is refreshing.

If you love tart and sweet treats, this is going to be a recipe you make time and time again. In a punch bowl or pitcher, mix one sliced grapefruit, 1 cup strawberries sliced in half, one sliced orange, 1 cup pink grapefruit, a bottle of chilled rosé wine, and 1 cup regular or grapefruit vodka. Berries marry so well with red wine and help give it an even deeper flavor. Stir together 1/2 cup raspberries and the same amount of blueberries, blackberries, and strawberries. Pour in a 12-ounce bottle of ginger ale along with a splash of blackberry liquor and your favorite red wine. A pinot noir works lovely with this recipe.

Pineapple and orange sangria is a tropical delight.

My suggestion is to make extra of this because your family and friends are going to love it! Combine one bottle of dry riesling with 3/4 cup peach vodka, 3/4 cup pineapple juice, 1/2 cup agave nectar, one small orange juiced and sliced, 1 cup cubed pineapple, and one can of club soda.

Spicy sangria has a fun kick.

If you like it hot, this sangria recipe has a kick to it. Grab a deep red wine bottle like a malbec, and mix in one chili pepper or jalapeño, one sliced lemon, one sliced orange, and one diced mango. Then mix in 1/2 cup honey, a dash of hot sauce, one shot of rum, and citrus club soda.

Rosé lovers will love this sangria.

It doesn't have to be summer for you to pop out a bottle of rosé! This recipe is sweet, tasty, and light. For a big crowd, combine four bottles of rosé with eight diced peaches, 2 cups raspberries, 1 cup strawberries, and one bottle of sparkling wine. Your guests won't be able to put this one down!

This is a white sangria with a sweet and tart twist. In a pitcher, mix sauvignon blanc with three plums, three nectarines, one can of nectarine nectar, 1/4 cup orange liqueur, one bottle of sparkling water, and ice. Drink to summer!

Pomegranate sangria is wonderful.

Pomegranate is great for you, so why not mix it into your cocktail menu? Beware, because this is a strong one! Mix together one bottle of red wine with 2 cups pomegranate juice, 1/2 cup brandy, 1/2 cup triple sec, 1/4 cup pomegranate seeds, one sliced orange, and one sliced green apple.

Add some sweet cherry flavor to your sangria.

Cherries are delicious, but if they aren't in season, you can stick to cherry juice to make this memorable sangria. Combine a bottle of chilled Madria Sangria Tradicional with 4 ounces orange liqueur, 1 cup cherry juice, 2 teaspoons mint extract, 16 sliced cherries, 16 whole kumquats, and mint leaves for garnish.

Champagne sangria makes you feel all fancy and stuff.

For a sophisticated touch, add some bubbly to your sangria recipe and magic will happen! In a pitcher, mix a bottle of prosecco or Champagne along with 1/2 cup orange juice, two sliced lemons, one lime zest and juice, ice, and a few leaves of mint.
