Nail polish
Don't waste time trying to figure out which key is for what and don't spend any extra money on buying special key gadgets either. All you have to do is use some of your nail polish to paint the tops of your keys to be able to tell them apart. They could even match your mani!
Ice trays
Of course you can use ice trays to make ice, but you can also use them to freeze homemade baby food or individual servings of sofrito or you can place them inside a drawer to store small-sized odds and ends.
Comb
If you've got a small nail that's kind of hard to hold in place without risking the loss of a finger when you hammer it in, you can use a comb to keep it in place.
Contact lens cases
Contact lens cases can be used to store small-sized objects you need to pop in your purse like medication or vitamins. You've got a little double-sided pill case ready to go.
Potato peeler
You can toss a yummy salad with your favorite veggies and the help of a potato peeler, no chopping required.
Dental floss
Dental floss can be very useful in the kitchen. Make sure you choose the unflavored and unwaxed variety. You can use it to cut food such as cakes, soft cheeses, or to unstick cookies from the bottom of a cookie sheet or even as cooking twine if your run out of the real deal.
Fabric softener sheets
You can use dryer sheets for dusting just about any surface in your home. You can also use a slightly damp sheet to scrub away build-up on your glass shower doors.
