A rich source of vitamins A, C, E, K and B6, it's no wonder avocados are called the alphabet fruit. They're also knowns as the "alligator pear" due to the wrinkly appearance of their skin combined with its pear shape. To me, avocados are one of the best foods in the world, if not THE best. And although they're probably the fattiest fruit out there, it's the good kind of fat, the kind that helps reduce bad cholesterol levels.
Try avocado in your salads, as a spread, in omelettes, and any other which way you prefer, but don't forget to try this smoothie which I ASSURE YOU, you will love!!
