The secret is that you can use the appliances you ALREADY have on hand. You don't need to go out and splurge on an ice cream maker or get new pots and pans. The possibilities with your current tools are endless and you'll never look at them the same way again!

I tried some of these new methods out and I was pleased that I didn't have to cough up extra money on an item that I had no room for. It will also impress guests and your family when you prepare breakfast, lunch, or dinner for them.

Below are some new and creative ways you can use many popular kitchen appliances that you already own!

Coffee maker: You can cook vegetables in a regular coffee maker and make hard boiled eggs if you find yourself in a situation where there is no stove available.

Ice cube trays: These trays are no longer just for water and ice. Instead you can freeze sauces, fruits, and smoothie mixes to use on a separate occasion.

Vegetable peeler: That metal peeler is great to use on other foods such as chocolate and cheese to grate curly flakes to top a meal or dessert.

Muffin Pans: These pans are a great way to create appetizers, taco bowl or to use as a platter during house parties.

Pizza cutter: This tool can be used to chop up herbs, cut pancakes, and other food that you need to cut up quickly.
