Thanksgiving leftover recipe: Cuban-style turkey sandwich is an unexpected treat

If you don't know what to do with your turkey leftovers, but like me, don't want to waste food, have I got a treat for you today. Take a look at this a-ma-zing Cuban-style sandwich. I found the recipe on Cooking Closet and can't wait to make it. I love it because I love Cuban bread and the idea of having cranberry sauce on a sandwich. I hope you like and happy holidays!

Cuban-style turkey sandwich

Makes 4 servings

__Ingredients
__2 bread rolls cut in half
2 tablespoons of mayonnaise
2 tablespoons of mustard
4 slices of turkey meat, preferably from the breast
4 slices of yellow cheese of your choice
4 slices of ham
4 slices of pickles
Olive oil

Preparation

1. Assemble your sandwich as usual: spread with mayonnaise and mustard on each of the bread halves; arrange the turkey, cheese, ham, pickles and cranberry sauce.

2. Brush the bread with olive oil and cook in a skillet over medium heat until browned, 2 to 3 minutes per side.
