Almost three years ago, Mexican cuisine was declared "intangible cultural heritage of humanity". The declaration by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (Unesco), represents more than just a label to put to tacos, tamales and chile rellenos.
I think the spirit of this declaration is to recognize and protect a way of life based on ancient cultivation of corn, which is the basis of the unique Mexican cuisine, dating back 7000 years ago. Today, Mexican cuisine is an infinite source of inspiration for cooks and housewives worldwide.

To celebrate the 203 years of the Grito de Dolores, on September 16, 1810, marking the beginning of the Mexican independence movement, I'm bringing my own "Mexico inspired" recipes as a tribute to this cuisine so unique, rich, colorful and delicious Qué viva Mexico, Our Lady of Guadalupe protect all of us and our families and let the mariachis play!

The perfect Margarita
A toast to the uniqueness of the Mexican gastronomy!
Ingredients
1 ½ oz of tequila Patrón Reposado
½ oz of Patrón Citrónge liquor
2 oz of sour mix
Juice of half a lime
Huice of half and orange
1 rodaja de lima para decorar
Preparation
In a shaker with ice, combine the reposado tequila, liquor, orange juice and lime juice. Shake vigorously and strain into a martini glass. Garnish with lime slice.
