It was just the other day that I found myself recklessly digging through my nail polish collection before heading out to get a professional mani and pedi. After 10 minutes of searching through the numerous bags I have in my makeup drawer, I finally found the shade I was looking for. It dawned on me that it was probably about time I found a way to organize the tons of polishes I've been accumulating over the years. Seriously, I have SO much my local nail salon doesn't have squat on me!

I realized that I only really had two options. Either throw some of my bottles out (which I didn't want to do), or figure out where the heck I was going to neatly store all these polishes. I got myself on the internet, did some research, and was kind of surprised at the insane amount of nail polish storage ideas out there. Here are a few of my faves below!

Nail polish displays
Nail polish displays racks are probably the easiest, most practical way to organize your polishes. This works best for the chica with a small collection.
Vase
Have any wide cylinder or square vases lying around? Use them to store a few of your favorite polishes!
Candy jar
Toss those old candies away and replace them with your nail lacquers. It’s prettier and healthier too!
Drawer
Use an empty drawer if you have. I recommend standing them up instead for easier accessibility.
Beauty tray
Display your newest polishes neatly in a makeup tray along with a few other beauty items. It looks neat and chic.
Shelves
Who says nail polish shelves are only for beauty salons? Try hanging a few on an empty wall and make it pop by color coordinating.
Spice rack
Haven’t used that spike rack in months? Don’t throw it away, just use it to store your polishes.
Shoe drawers
