It's no secret that Chiquis Rivera is one of our favorite celebrities to cover. We love writing about her and keep a close eye on what's going on in her life. Well, guess what's going on in her life right about now? She's having a birthday! That's right—Chiquis Rivera, née Janney Marín Rivera, eldest daughter of the late and great Jenny Rivera, is having a birthday. She's turning 35 on June 26, and we thought we would celebrate her by sharing some of her best makeup moments ever with you.

Not for nothing, but it wasn't easy to narrow down her best makeup moments because she's had so many. Chiquis is one of those women who uses makeup to highlight her beauty as opposed to using it to hide behind. She's not afraid to go barefaced, and she's also not afraid to glam it up or rock any makeup look in between. So in honor of her birthday, let's all peruse some of her best makeup looks ever.
The one where Chiquis makes a case for lavender liner.
Look at that barely there lavender liner under her eyes. It's the lightest shade of lavender we've seen in a minute and makes her eyes light up. We love how she opted to keep her lashes long but light on the mascara. If she had gone heavy with the mascara, it would have detracted from the barely there shade of lavender.
R-r-r-red lips never go out of style.
Some people have a signature makeup look and never stray from it. That is not how Chiquis does makeup. She's never afraid to mix it up. As you can see, she isn't afraid to go from the lightest of lip colors to the boldest red lipstick. And she looks great regardless of the color she chooses.
The lips, the eyes, the hair—it's all good!
The shimmery nude lips with those dramatic eyes? We vote YES! And her hair? Nice! It's like a modern take on an I Dream of Jeannie look, but in this case, we can call it I Dream of Janney as in Janney Marín Rivera aka Chiquis! You see what we did there?
She knows how to find her light.
She captioned this photo, "… the best filter, Mister SUN!" We agree that the lighting in this picture is perfection, but that golden shadow on her eyelids is adding to the magic, and so are those coral-colored lips. It's a simple everyday look that we can all borrow. A golden eyeshadow is flattering on just about everyone.
Who is that disco bunny?
It's Chiquis getting a kiss from her baby bro. We're calling this her disco bunny look because of the pigtails and the eyeshadow. It's like she's got little mini disco balls on each eyelid. Where's the party, Chiquis? We want to go, because clearly there will be dancing involved.

Sorry, we couldn't help ourselves. But for reals, isn't this a great makeup look for a romantic evening at home in front of the fireplace with your boo? The light pink lipstick paired with the come-hither eyes? We have a feeling Lorenzo Méndez, her hubby, fell under her spell right quick.
Check out the whites of her eyes!
Notice the white eyeliner lining her lower inner lids. This isn't something you would do to take your kids to the park, but it's great for an evening look or if you are going to be on camera like Chiquis. It adds just the right amount of EXTRA to make your eyes pop.
When your clothes are every color, what color should your makeup be?
Sure, you could go for equally colorful makeup, or you could do like Chiquis and opt for a neutral palette. To celebrate Pride in 2019, Chiquis wore a rainbow-colored outfit and kept her makeup palette subdued. It works. The makeup accentuates her features without clashing with her ensemble.
She's bright-eyed and ready to go.
Notice how Chiquis used a really light color of eyeshadow on the inside corners of her upper lids. It adds a fresh highlighting effect that makes her look oh-so-awake in a good way. We're also loving the matte rose lipstick she opted for and how it goes so well with the rose shade on her eyes.
Hats off to this look!
Have you ever matched your fuchsia hat to your fuchsia lips? We haven't, but Chiquis has, and now we're thinking this might be a look to re-create. Even without the hat, those fuchsia lips are fantastic. They are the focal point of this makeup look.
She's got lashes for days!
Watch out if she bats those eyelashes around you, because your hat might fly off. Ha! They are long and luxurious for sure and make her eyes the focal point of her lovely face. The nude lipstick she's wearing adds some subdued drama to her pout.
Go on and blush, girl!
Chiquis knows that blush isn't just for your cheeks. She's got a whole blush look going on here. Blush on her eyes, blush on her cheeks, blush on her lips. What do you get when you add it all together? A blushing beauty, of course.
Gala ready and gorgeous!
Chiquis was getting ready for the 2018 Nuestra Belleza Latina gala in this picture. She looks stunning, and we are completely blown away by her lids. They shimmer, they shine, they dazzle. It's like all the stars from the heavens decided to hang out on her lids.

There's no better way to celebrate National Lipstick Day than with a bold lip color. Here Chiquis opted for a matte hot pink color that screams FESTIVE. Chiquis doesn't always wear a matte lipstick, but when she does, it's ALL THAT!

As with many things in life, sometimes less is more. For example, here Chiquis is wearing minimal makeup, and the result is more refreshing than ever. Her natural beauty shines through, and she looks like a ray of sunshine. Notice the lavender liner around her eyes. It's lovely.
