You can't silence "The Fashionista" forever! Rodner Figueroa took the opportunity to return to what he does best during the Billboard Awards this weekend. The fired Univision journalist was getting down and dirty with his fashion critiques and aired out his thoughts on his newly-minted blog. He definitely was not censoring his thoughts on Jennifer Lopez's favorite sheer nude look. He wrote exactly what was on my mind too when I saw J.Lo's gown! I love his candidness.

Figueroa called out J.Lo for being too predictable with her fashion choices on the red carpet. He wrote on his blog El Fashionista, which he launched just this past weekend:
The dress Jennifer Lopez wore to the Billboard Awards in Las Vegas sparked more controversy than the results of the Mayweather vs Pacquiao's fight. I ended up betting with a friend that J.Lo would end up with a sheer dress on the red carpet–and I won. Here's my theory: As long as she maintains that figure there's no way you're going to pull her away from the transparent looks.
I couldn't agree more! Lopez has turned the nude sheer look into her signature trademark at this point. I personally think she has worn it out a bit. The dresses highlight her amazing figure, but every dress starts to look the same after a while.
Figueroa didn't bash Lopez's love for sheer. He went on to write that she works hard to keep a flawless figure and should rock the see-through gowns if that's what makes her feel her sexiest. I think it was a tactful way to note the obvious while keeping Jenny From The Block on a pedestal. Figueroa may have been out of the limelight for a bit, but he still has the magic fashionista touch.
