It's about time Sports Illustrated put a curvy girl in one of their magazines. Everyone has been raving about their new Swimsuit Issue which comes out February 9 and how it features the first plus-size model ad in the history of the magazine. Ashley Graham is the gorgeous girl and she's seen wearing nothing but a black string bikini in an ad campaign for SwimsuitsForAll. This woman is freaking hot!

I never thought I'd see the day Sports Illustrated would feature a plus-size model in one of their issues. Graham may not have been fortunate enough to grace the cover of the magazine (hopefully that happens soon), but her ad for SwimsuitsForAll, a company known for recreating the cover of the Swimsuit Issue using all plus-size models last year, was featured and it's so sexy!
Graham is a size 16 and has one hell of a figure. Boobs, booty, hips–you name it! And she's pretty proud of her assets too. "I know my curves are sexy and I want everyone else to know that theirs are too. There is no reason to hide and every reason to flaunt," she said in a press release. "The world is ready for more curves in bikinis."
If Graham looks familiar to you that's because she's appeared in a variety of ad campaigns including some for Levi's, Lane Bryant, Bloomingdales, Hanes, Liz Claiborne, Macy's, Nordstrom, Target and quite a few more. She was also on the cover of Elle magazine Quebec. How cool is that? This is so incredibly inspiring!
This is a HUGE step forward in the right direction. A lot of companies, magazines and brands have really been making an effort to embrace curves and plus-size models and it's definitely something to be proud of. Hopefully we start seeing more curvy girls on the actual covers of magazines, maybe Graham? Now that's something to look forward to!
