1. For some of us the colder months leads to developing dry, itchy skin in the winter. To give your skin a moisturizing boost, take a chamomile and rosemary bath by boiling a cup of chamomile tea leaves and another cup of rosemary in a pot of water. Strain and then add this tea into your bath water.
2. Chamomile has been found to speed up the healing of wounds, rashes, burns, and ulcers in the skin. You can use the tea or add a few drops of oil to a bath to wash trouble skin, treat inflammations, and fight bacterial infections.
3. Because chamomile contains antioxidants that protect from free radicals, applying it to your skin could also provide anti-aging benefits and is way cheaper than some of those brand name buys.
4. Chamomile isn't just great for your skin, it's also awesome for your hair. Blondes will want to rinse with it to bring out their hair's shine and brighten up its color. Others can use it to lighten their hair color a bit.
5. Just like chamomile is good for your skin and helps soothe itchiness, use it as a rinse on your hair to prevent scalp irritation and dandruff. Taking care of your scalp's health is key in maintaining strong, luscious hair.
6. Eyes burning after a long day in front of the computer? Then take a few moments to lay back with a couple cooled chamomile tea bags over your eyes to help soothe those peepers. You'll feel a little more refreshed and ready to take on the rest of the day.
