Kim Kardashian has sported a lot of crazy looks in her day. Remember that terrible mueble-inspired dress she wore to the MET gala a few years back? Yeah, it was ugly with a capital U.G.L.Y. I honestly thought her style faux pas couldn't possibly get any worse than that. I was wrong. The Keeping Up with the Kardashian's star raised more than a few brows Monday when she showed up to her sister Kendall Jenner's birthday party sporting a pair of bleached cejas. They. Are. Kim unveiled her shocking new look on Instagram Tuesday when she posted a couple of snaps of herself sporting her new bleached brows at a birthday bash held in her younger sister's honor. "About last night… #KendallsBDayParty #DontBeScaredOfMyBleachedBrows #ItsForAPhotoShoot," captioned one Instagram snap of her posing with eyebrow queen Cara Delevingne. Oh, I see. She bleached her brows for the same reason she does just about anything these days: for fashion. Makes sense.
Kim is hardly the first celeb to rock the no-brow look in the name of fashion. Even her 19-year-old Kendall and model friend Cara have rocked the runway sans cejas. But just because everyone's bleaching their brows, that doesn't mean Kim should do the same. Despite how many people have joined team #NoBrows, I can't seem to wrap my head around Kim doing the same. It's actually pretty jarring to see Kim, of all people, sporting a naked forehead. After all, Kim was one of the first celebs out there (outside of Brook Shields, of course) to fully embrace her bushy brows and rock those bad boys with confidence. I really loved that about her.
Though, to be fair, the chica is rocking her new brow-less look with gusto. Kim captioned another bleached brow pic with the hashtag, "#EyebrowsOnFleek," which is to say her brows are on point. I personally think her bleached brows make her look ill, but I appreciate her willingness to try something new. We all know Kim is very particular about her look, so I'm sure it wasn't easy for her to do away with one of her most famous assets. So kudos to her for taking that risk. Now, can she please change them back? They're really freaking me the hell out.
