__Well not only did he seriously fail at getting the wrinkle-free skin he was hoping for (his face looks like a hot mess), but he's now on 15 types of medication a day and has a special diet in order to treat the health issues that have come from his cosmetic procedures. Doctors have not been able to fix the lumps that have sprouted all over his head and Garcia has to deal with feeling like a monster. The weird thing is he actually looked handsome before he started down this path of self-destruction that left him utterly unrecognizable. So why would he take matters into his own hands?
Are we really so obsessed with beauty that some will risk everything to obtain it? How many stories haven't we heard of deaths caused by fake doctors, butts injected with cement and silicone, and other craziness? Plastic or cosmetic surgery can be a pricey option as it's an elective surgery not typically covered by health insurance plans, but maybe we need to take a step back and ask why our self-worth is so wrapped up in how we look. And if you still want to take the plunge, make sure you're going to a reputable and certified doctor–not some no-name with a needle and some household products.
