What is everyone's issue with baby Blue Ivy's hair? It's quickly becoming the most controversial and talked about thing ever. In fact, I have never heard about a toddler's hair spoken about so much in the media in my entire life! Almost every time a photo of Blue hits the internet, the conversation regarding her hair continues and the sad thing is, they are almost always negative! But what's really disturbing is that now there's a Change.org petition to comb baby Blue's hair. Seriously?

The fact that someone even thought about creating a petition like this is upsetting and honestly racist too. To claim that there's something wrong with this little girl's hair is suggesting that there's something wrong with her natural curls. Wait until you read what Jasmine Toliver (the fool behind the whole petition) actually wrote. Trust me, it's going to boil your blood! She says:
As a woman who understands the importance of hair care. It's disturbing to watch a child suffering from the lack of hair moisture. The parents of Blue Ivy. Sean Carter A.K.A Jay-Z and Beyonce has failed at numerous attempts of doing Blue Ivy Hair. This matter has escalated to the child developing matted dreads and lint balls. Please let's get the word out to properly care for Blue Ivy hair.
Where do I even begin? First off, I think Jasmine needs to take a few classes in English grammar because homegirl doesn't seem to know where to place her comas, her periods or her colons. Sorry, but that's a lot more disturbing to me then Blue Ivy's hair. Secondly, I have seen photos of Blue's hair and it has NEVER looked like she was developing matted dreads or had lint balls. I think the real issue this woman and the 10 idiots who have so far left signatures on the petition page, is that they have a personal problem with textured afro hair. One moron describes Blue's hair as "a hot mess," another stated, "because no child with billions of dollars should look like a shlep." Really?
I'd like to know what these fools expect Bey and Jay-Z to do with their daughter's hair. If it was relaxed, flat-ironed or filled with greasy products, would that constitute it as presentable and well kept? Blue looks just fine. Her hair is beautiful. These crazy commentators are the ones who need the makeover and a hobby wouldn't hurt either!
