Am I the only one woman alive who totally hates bra shopping? Between the ridiculous padding in some bras on the market (why does every item at Victoria's Secret feel like it's been stuffed with a goose down parka these days?) and the salespeople constantly barraging me with their measurement tapes, I usually just end up walking out of the store, frustrated and empty-handed.
But both of these problems could be solved, thanks to a newly created app called Third Love. This app helps you find your bra size on your own, at home. How? By snapping a selfie!

Basically, all users have to do is take two picture of themselves (one front view, one side view) in front of a mirror, while wearing a tight-fitting tank top. Third Love, which was created by the online bra store of the same name, then uses image recognition software to measure your chest size, with the length of your iPhone acting as a virtual measuring tape.
The whole thing apparently is only about a five-minute process, resulting in the exact measurements needed for a custom-fit bra. After getting your size–which might include half-cups–you can customize a bra of your choice through the ThirdLove online store, which cost about $45 to 70. If for some reason, your perfect-fit bra doesn't fit so great, the company will also offer you a full refund and cover shipping costs for the return and any new item you might want to exchange it for.
Sounds like a pretty good deal right?! After all, it basically does all the work and then leaves the fun parts (like picking out the colors and patterns) to you. What more could a girl ask for? Plus, the fact that they offer free exchanges or returns definitely makes me all the more willing to try it out.
