Lupita wowed us all with her touching acceptance speech and her elegant ice blue Prada gown that made her look nothing less than a princess. But I'm shocked no one has said a thing about this girl's skin. Her face looked so radiant and flawless, I just had to find out her skincare secret. And to my surprise it's not due to fancy creams or professional facials: Lupita swears by natural oils. "I use a lot of natural oils–like avocado oil and Hawaiian Kukui oil–and try to drink lots of water," she told Racked.com. "I think your skin really needs to be nourished from the inside rather than outside, so eating right and drinking water really goes a long way. I'm very low-maintenance."

Who would have guessed that perfect complexion was all due to natural oils? Believe it or not, natural oils like avocado oil can do wonders on your skin. You can find it at any health foods store or vitamin shop, but it's actually pretty easy to make at home. Here's how!

Step 1: Start off by cutting an avocado in half. Stick a knife into the avocado until you hit the seed. Then cut around the seed until the fruit is completely cut in half.

Step 2: Remove the seed and then peel off the outside layer (the skin) of the avocado. The skin is where you'll be extracting the oil from.

Step 3: Now place the avocado skin into an orange press and pull the level down until you start to notice oil dropping down.

Step 4: To filter the oil, pass it through a fine mesh-strainer over a small bowl or tall glass.

Step 5: Make sure to store the oil in a glass bottle that contains a lid. You can use the oil on your face or even to moisturize and condition your hair.
