6 Foods that will make you look years younger

By now we all know that when it comes to good skin, it's not just what you put on your body but what you put in it too. You can apply all the fancy face creams in the world, but if you're not getting all your essential nutrients you're not going to have a lot of luck when it comes to warding of those wrinkles. I'm telling you, certain foods really do help delay the aging process. And I'm not suggesting you trade in your rice and beans for a veggie-only diet, just add a few of these super (and yummy) foods into the mix!

These foods target all your basic aging concerns from wrinkles, to dark spots, to even dry dull skin. Who would have thought anti-aging could taste so delicious? Check out some of these key foods below!

Green tea: I LOVE green tea, not just because it calms my nerves, but it also calms my skin. It's actually loaded with natural antioxidants along with a chemical known as EGCG. "In multiple studies it was shown to help cells grow properly and maintain a healthy life cycle," certified nutritionist and dietician Nicolette Pace told the Huffington Post.

Fish: Suffer from dry skin? Look for foods that are high in omega-3 fatty acids, like salmon. It helps keep skin moisturized and bright.

Avocados: Like fish, avocados are also rich in fatty acids. They're also filled with glutathione, which helps ward off acne and wrinkles. Best part is you can easily incorporate them into any meal.

Honey: If you struggle with sensitive skin, try honey. It's a natural antioxidant filled with calming properties. Don't like eating it alone? Using it a sugar substitute by adding it to your oatmeal, tea, and coffee.

Flaxseeds: Got manchas? Try adding such flaxseeds into your favorite smoothie. They are packed with omega-3 fatty acids that help erase dark spots and smooth wrinkles.

Spinach: Believe it or not, spinach works like a natural SPF. In fact, a study published in the International Journal of Cancer found that people who ate the most spinach developed half as much skin tumors over 11 years versus those who ate less.
