I've never been a huge fan of classic French manicures, not even in the 90s when they were actually considered "hot." But I have to admit I'm really, really loving the reverse manicure trend. It's given a refreshingly modern twist to the outdated nail look. With nails being the hottest new accessory this fall, make them super bold with this sexy mani that's easier to do than you think! Step 1: Start off by filing and buffing your nails as usual. This manicure can be achieved with either round or square nails. Then gently push your cuticle back with a metal cuticle nail pusher.
Step 2: Place reinforcement stickers at the base of the nail overlapping at the skin. This is what's going to help you achieve the half moon part of the mani.
Step 3: Paint the upper portion of the nail with three coats of a white nail polish like Zoya Nail Polish in Snow White.
Step 4: Once nails are fully dry, remove the reinforcement sticker and fill in the base part of the nail using a glittery polish like Nicole by OPI polish Kardashian Kolor Nail Lacquer in Follow Me On Glitter.
Step 5: Let it dry, and finish them off with a top coat like, Sally Hansen Hard As Nails Advanced Strengthening Nail Topcoat.
