Great minds think alike! Recently, actress Rachel Zegler and singer Ángela Aguilar were spotted wearing the same dress mere weeks apart. But who wore it best?
Rachel, who is 23, is an actress and singer known for her roles in West Side Story, The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes, and most recently, the live-action remake of Snow White. She is of Colombian and Polish descent. Meanwhile, 21-year-old Ángela is a Mexican American singer, the daughter of legendary Pepe Aguilar, and the newly minted wife of Christian Nodal (and their relationship has generated all sorts of controversy, especially around his ex Cazzu, who is also the mom of his baby girl … but that’s another story!)
Ángela wore a gorgeous white dress in February 2025.

On February 20, Ángela attended the 2025 Premio Lo Nuestro Awards. The event, which recognizes achievements in Latin music, was held at Kaseya Center in Miami, Florida. She, her brother Leonardo Aguilar and her father Pepe Aguilar performed as she donned a white gown with a sweetheart neckline and a red heart on the chest, accessorizing with a red shawl.
In March 2025, Rachel Zegler showed up in an nearly identical dress.
In March, Rachel made a public appearance in nearly the same dress. There was one major difference: Rachel’s version of the gown reached to the floor instead of stopping just below her calves like Ángela’s. The actress performed “Waiting on a Wish” from Snow White alongside Sakura Kiryu, the Japanese dubbing voice actress for the film, in Tokyo.
Both Rachel Zegler and Ángela Aguilar celebrated their Latin roots with the dress.
Although Rachel and Ángela wore nearly identical dresses, they each honored their Latin heritage in their own ways. Ángela went for a traditional Mexican vibe with her accessories. Meanwhile, Rachel’s dress paid homage to Snow White—and the fact that she is the first Latina to play the role.
We think they both rocked the gown!
Fans loved Rachel’s look in the comments.
In the comments of a Walt Disney Studios’ Facebook post about Rachel’s performance, users praised her look.
“That gown is stunning!” one person declared. “I love the beaded heart and sword, looks just like the one on the Huntsman’s box from the animated movie. Great attention to detail!”
Another wrote, “Omg this dress. So beautiful!” while someone else commented, “That dress is everything.”
Yet another Facebook user shared, “These pics are beautiful, wish this costume designer had done the film!”
Rachel’s dress held symbolism for ‘Snow White.’
Sarah Slutsky, who has worked with Rachel during the Snow White press tour, shared commentary from Paul Vasileff, who created the Paolo Sebastian dress, in an Instagram post.
“This custom couture gown brings to life the iconic ‘heart box’ motif from the original 1937 classic,” Vasileff, designer and founder of Paolo Sebastian, explained
“The daggered heart on the Evil Queen’s heart box is such a powerful icon from the Disney film archive,” he continued. “It’s a symbol of the dark fate that awaits Snow White, as well as one of triumph when the huntsman tricks his own queen.”
Vasileff added, “Rachel’s beauty and strength in reimagining this beloved role proved our ultimate inspiration—celebrating our heroine overcoming the ultimate evil.”
Snow White is now playing in theaters.
