Mexican singer Thalía is in fan and fashion girl paradise. The lucky gal just got an alligator bag that belonged to her icon Marilyn Monroe for Christmas . It was a gift from husband Tommy Mottola who paid more than many people's yearly salary for it. Let me show it to you.

According to experts in vintage fashion items, the I. Magnin & Co bag is valued at $37,500.
But we don't know how much Mottola paid for it. Page Six revealed last November the music executive had engaged in a bidding war with designer Tommy Hilfiger for another bag in the same auction in which he got this one. The final price for the other bag which Hilfiger won was $187,500.
The auction was held by Julien's Auctions in Los Angeles and included more than a 1,000 items owned by Marilyn Monroe.
Thalía's gift also included a comb, a lipstick and a lighter that came with the bag. Don't you wish the modern ones also brought accessories like those?
While many people have criticized Thalía and Mottola for the expensive gift, I think that t's a great present for a woman that has it all.
Now the question is, will she wear it to a red carpet event during award season? We will have to wait and see…
