Don't swear off sweets just yet! You can totally make them healthy. Let me clarify something right now. Whoever said eating healthy was boring, simply didn't fully understand the concept of eating healthy. The truth is, almost any food or meal can be converted into a healthy version by making small changes to the ingredients. A healthy diet is all about the ingredients we use to cook. We replace the unhealthy for the healthy, and we make those unhealthy foods a lot healthier, and continue enjoying them. And the good news is that you can also do this with sweets!

You don't have to quit ice cream forever! You just have to make a healthier version of it and eat it moderately. How can you do this?
1. Don't use cow's milk. If you have to use milk, choose unsweetened vanilla almond milk, rice milk or my choice, light coconut milk. These are a lot healthier than cow milk and will give the dessert the same taste regular milk does.
2. Use whey protein. Whey protein helps burn fat and it builds lean muscle. Add a scoop of your favorite whey protein flavor to your desserts. Not only is it good for you, you will add more flavor to your dessert.
3.Add taste. You know how we always added sprinkles and chocolate toppings to the ice cream? Well, you can still do it now! Add chopped nuts, dark chocolate pieces, a tablespoon of peanut butter or frozen fruits.
Follow these three tips and you will see that you won't feel the need to walk into an ice cream shop or bakery ever gain.
