I'm always so impressed by people that are successfully able to lose drastic amounts of weight. It's not an easy process and most folks give up before they even begin to make progress. But that wasn't the case for 31-year-old Chad. The 6-foot-1 guy weighed around 380 pounds before he finally decided to make some changes. He's not only managed to lose 160 pounds but he looks like a whole new man. Wait until you see pictures–he's hot!

Chad lived a pretty inactive life. He didn't work out or do anything physical for that matter, and he ate a lot of unhealthy foods. Think tons of pasta, bread, cheese, chips–the works! So over the years he started to gradually gain weight but it wasn't until he started entering his 30s that he realized it was time to make some moves.
"A vacation with the family to sunny Florida was evidently enough to flip the switch. That, and the fact that I was entering my 30s and heavier than ever. I wasn't getting any younger, but I was getting quite a lot heavier," he told the Huffington Post.
Before he knew it, Chad was making drastic changes to his diet, lifestyle and even working out. "I simply decided to focus on calories. I'd had some temporary success in the past with various, relatively complex weight loss programs, but I decided to make things as simple as possible. I downloaded a free nutrition app on my tablet, and I began to catalog everything I ate, adding up the calories as I went. I set a healthy calorie cap and paced myself throughout the day to stay under my maximum," he said.
A year and a half later, Chad now weighs 220 pounds. He's not done either! "I've lost about 160 pounds so far, and I plan to lose a bit more. How much more will depend on how I feel," he added. Did I mention how much more handsome he looks now? The guy is a total hottie. I'm super happy for him and hope he continues to experience success throughout his weight-loss journey!
