Anna Hall and her husband Josh have a lot to be thankful for this Mother's Day weekend. It's not just one miracle they give thanks for, but FOUR. While it is true that this is the first set of quadruplets born at the Baylor Regional Medical Center, in Grapevine, the medical staff was ready to welcome the four little Hall babies that were born on week 31 of their mom's pregnancy. Even though typically quadruplets are born before week 29 of pregnancy, which puts at risk their lung and brain development, these babies have the added benefit of two extra weeks in their mom's womb.
On his 30th birthday, six years ago, the Dallas minister and his wife had prayed with family and friends for the miracle of becoming parents. After welcoming Zoe four years ago and Kaitlyn two years ago, the Halls are witness yet again of the incredible miracle of life, but this time times four and exactly on his 36th birthday! To think of what this birthday party will be like moving forward!
The three little girls and the boy were born healthy and are expected to stay in the hospital during 6 weeks under medical care until they have gained the weight necessary to be released to go home with mom, dad and the happy big sisters. Brooks was born first, at 3 pounds, 11 ouces, then Sadie (2 pounds, 5 ounces), Elle (3 pounds, 6 ounces) and Ivy (3 pounds, 5 ounces). Elle and Ivy are identical twins. I can only imagine this family and the community they're a part of are besides themselves. What a beautiful gift. God bless them all.
