A mom who has garnered an online following with her blog is getting tons of support in the social media world this week after losing her 3-year-old son, Ryan Cruz Saldana, in a horrible accident. Dozens of Internet users and fans of his mom Jacqui Saladana's site, Baby Boy Bakery, took to Twitter to send supportive messages, along with the hashtag #RedBalloonsforRyan in honor of the sweet boy whose life was taken way too young.
According to a blog written by Jacqui's best friend Alissa Circle, Ryan was hit by a truck when he ran out into the road to grab a Frisbee while playing out front of a family member's home last Friday night. Now, his family and all of his loved ones are asking the Internet to share their story and send prayers their way.

"I know you may not know Jacqui, but she needs us now more than ever," Circle wrote. "Will you unite with me? Will you share her story? Will you offer her comfort?" She also asked people to post photos of Ryan on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram so that his memory–and the love his parents have for him–can live on.
And it seems the rest of the world has heard her plea, with fans, strangers, and even some celebrities have taken to social media to share their story and offer their condolences. A fundraising page has also been set up for the family.
No parent should ever have to endure the loss of their child. It's a devastating, shattering struggle that I cannot even begin to imagine and my heart truly goes out to Jacqui, her husband, and all of their entire family and friends who loved sweet, little Ryan. But I also want to let them all know that we've heard their request and are passing their story and the memory of Ryan along. Hopefully, you will too.
