Admittedly, the vinegar doesn't taste that great at first ,which is why it should be diluted with water. Many people like mixing it with juices and other drinks because it reduces the vinegar-y taste. The key to choosing the right ACV is to make sure that it's the organic and raw kind (one I like is Bragg's Apple Cider Vinegar, $7). You will feel an immediate difference after drinking the beverage which is also intended to amp up your energy!
However, you should still use ACV mindfully because it is still an acidic solution. When used excessively or without dilution, it can damage tooth enamel and harm your digestive tract. Apple cider vinegar detox drink:
2 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar
2 tablespoons of raw honey
16 ounces of water (a tall glass)
Half a lemon
Pinch of Cayenne pepper (optional)
Fill up a 16 ounce mug with hot water, add the two tablespoons of ACV, honey, squeeze in the lemon juice and mix. If you aren't afraid of spicy foods, add a pinch of cayenne pepper to amp up your metabolism.
