5 Ways to de-wrinkle clothes without an iron

Ironing sucks and that's why I never do it. That's right I don't iron my clothes and I'm not ashamed to admit it. I simply don't have the time or patience to be busting out the ironing board every morning. I mean who really does? But before you start judging, let me just add that I don't walk around with clothes that look that they've been stuffed in shoe boxes either. Not only is ironing annoying but a lot of my clothes are made from delicate materials that can't be ironed anyway. So I have no choice but to come up with tips and tricks to keep my outfits as wrinkled-free as possible. Plus, having an iron on hand isn't always possible when you're traveling. These hacks are a lot more useful and convenient than you'd think. Here 5 fun and easy ways to remove wrinkles from clothes without an iron!

Try the shower method: The first time I tried this trick was a few hours before my cousin's wedding. My bridesmaid dress was wrinkled but it was made from chiffon, meaning it couldn't be ironed. I closed my bathroom window and then hung the dress on the shower rod. Then turned on the shower, had the hot water running but made sure the water didn't actually hit the dress. The steam quickly smoothed out all the wrinkles. Genius, right?

Use your blow dryer: If you're traveling and don't have an iron nearby, grab your blowdryer. Start off by dampening the wrinkled areas with water, then dry those areas using a hair dryer on low settings. Make sure not to hold the dryer too close to your piece of clothing.

Use a damp towel: Using a damp towel sort of works like the shower method. Just lay your wrinkled piece of clothing on any flat surface. Then press a warm, damp towel right over the wrinkles until they smooth out.

Hair straighter iron: Okay, so this might sound crazy but I know chicks who have used their hair irons to straighten out wrinkled garments and it's actually worked. Just make sure to keep the settings low and not to leave it in one spot for too long, unless you want to burn your clothes of course.

Spritz: Another cool trick is mixing water with a little bit of fabric softener and adding it to a spray bottle. Hang the garment and spritz the wrinkled areas making sure you're at least 10 inches away. As the piece of clothing starts to dry, the wrinkles will disappear.
