SEE: Students reply to racist anti-immigration flyer in BEST way possible

After a group called Immigration Watch passed out hateful, discriminatory flyers around Brampton, Canada earlier this year, a class of high school students in the area was left understandably offended. But instead of retaliating in an equally vile way, they came up with a bold response that is so darn brilliant, it just makes me want to give each and every single one of the teens responsible a big hug.

As can be seen in the photo here, the original anti-immigration flyer passed out by the group was titled "The Changing Face of Brampton" and shows two photos: one of an all-white crowd with the header "From This…" and the other an image taken in India of a group of Sikhs protesting, with the header "To This.." Underneath both photos, a caption reads, "Is this really what you want?"  Well, the students have come up with an answer to the despicably racist flyer. Check out their amazing response after the jump!

After the flyer was brought to the attention of a group of students by their teacher (who used it to spark discussion in class), they decided to respond with their own flyer, seen here. Their version again compares two images–this time, not to condemn the differences between the two, but to celebrate them. The first photo shows the same "From this…" photo of the first flyer. But the second photo has been replaced with a picture of the diverse group of students within the word "UNITY," as well as an answer to the original question, "Yes, this is what we really want."

Is that beautiful or what? Good for these kids for not only taking it upon themselves to respond, but to turn something ugly into a moment of learning and open-mindedness for themselves and hopefully, for anyone else who comes upon their flyers. They seriously deserve a round of applause!
