When we make our annual visit to the gynocologist we know that it is an uncomfortable situation we'd rather avoid. That's why when I saw __Nadia Kamal'__s video "Pap Rap" rapping about pap smears, I couldn't help but laugh. For one, she makes a point to raise awareness for cervical cancer and why it's important to have a pap smear done.
But the video itself imitates that of a modern day hip-hop video with equally as vulgar language. Wait till you see it!

As much as I hate going to the gyno for check-ups, I know that it is important to do so for health reasons. Kamal's video made the experience a whole lot bearable because of how funny it is. She even has muppets starring in it!
She apologizes in the beginning for using misogynistic language to promote the importance of women's health–which at least gives you a fair warning. You immediately get what she means because instead of calling our vaginas by their medical term, she calls them the C-word.
However she does offer important reasons as to why we should get pap smears and explains that cervical cancer is the second most common disease to hit women. In fact getting screened for it can reduce your chances by 80 percent. Kamal notes that she's aware that it is uncomfortable but points out that it only lasts 30 seconds and is worth it.
