Kylie Jenner claps back at speculation she used Ozempic to lose weight after having 2 kids

When Keeping Up With the Kardashians premiered in 2007, Kylie Jenner was only 9. The youngest Kardashian-Jenner sibling practically grew up in the public eye and at this point, she's used to unsolicited comments about her body. But the Kylie Cosmetics founder recently set the record straight about rumors she used Ozempic for weight loss after having kids.

Kylie and her ex, rapper Travis Scott (whose real name is Jacques Bermon Webster II) share two children. In February 2018, they welcomed their daughter, Stormi Webster. Their son, Aire Webster, was born in February 2022.

Kylie Jenner spoke about the Ozempic rumors in an interview with 'British Vogue.'

Kylie, 27, graced the cover of British Vogue's September 2024 issue. In her cover story, the business mogul and mother discussed several topics—one of them being the Ozempic rumors. "Does everyone forget that I had two children and I gained 60 pounds both pregnancies?" she said in the interview.

In the interview, she revealed she gained 60 pounds during each pregnancy.

Kylie also detailed what when her body went through, weight-wise, during her interview with British Vogue.

“I was 200 pounds when I gave birth to my 9 pound babies: 8.3 and 8.9,” she explained. “I finally lost all the baby weight after my daughter and then got pregnant with my son two months later.”

Kylie said she doesn't think people give women 'enough empathy.'

In between having her kids, Kylie said she "felt in shape and it was working out." But then she had to "do it all over again" when she became pregnant with Aire. The Kardashians reality star added, "I feel like people didn’t give me, or give women in general, enough empathy."

Critics often compare current photos to when she was newly postpartum, she pointed out.

Part of the reason the Ozempic rumors have been so rampant, according to Kylie, is because of the way critics compare before-and-after photos.

“I’m back at my weight I was before I had my daughter and son and people are putting side by sides of me three months postpartum," she told British Vogue. "I’m like: ‘Does everyone forget that I had two children and I gained 60 pounds both pregnancies?’”

On top of the public body scrutiny, Kylie suffered from 'prolonged' postpartum depression.

"I’m going to be 27, and I’m finally feeling like myself again," Kylie confessed, noting that postpartum depression after each of her children lasted about a year. "Mentally, it’s really hard. Hormonally, it’s really hard."
