Kim Kardashian stopped traveling with expensive jewelry after she was bound, gagged, and robbed during Paris Fashion Week in 2016. But that horrifying experience hasn’t stopped her or her eldest child, North West, from traveling with some rather luxurious and expensive designer bags. She also isn’t shy about displaying her wealth in other ways while jet-setting.

For example, Kim and North recently took a trip to Japan with North’s friend and that friend’s mother. While traveling, Kim and North were both seen carrying bags worth thousands of dollars. They also happened to have traveled in Kim’s decked out private jet. Take a look at the pricey bags, the deluxe private jet, and some other details of their luxe trip.

Photos were taken of the mother-daughter duo when they returned from their trip to Japan. Kim was seen holding a crocodile Hermès Kelly bag, while North carried a Takashi Murakami Louis Vuitton bag from the design house’s 2005 line. Together the bags are worth around $45,000 or more.

While in Japan, Kim treated herself to a bubblegum pink patent leather Chanel bag and even though she swore off traveling with expensive jewelry, she also got a teardrop pearl and crystal necklace for the bag, which was worn by Margot Robbie in the Barbie movie. The two pieces have been estimated to be worth around $21,000.
And then there’s the private plane.
Kim’s private plane is worth about $150 million. She bought it in 2022, for a reported $95 million and then upped it’s value by customizing the heck out of it. The seats, headrests, and many surfaces are covered in cashmere. Talk about luxurious.

These two seem to be quite happy while on Kim’s glamourous plane. Can you imagine experiencing that kind of luxury at such a young age? The craziest part is that this is “normal” for them. Most kids haven’t even been on a plane, let alone a private jet.
