Since then, speculation has circulated about a feud. Fans even accused Hailey of copying Selena in videos about beauty tips and of making mocking gestures aimed at Taylor Swift, a close friend of Selena's. It all started with a photograph where Selena's eyebrows stood out. The actress and singer posted images on TikTok where she mentioned that she had "accidentally" laminated her eyebrows too much. Fans were supportive of Selena, whose eyebrow hairs looked like they had been aggressively gelled into place.
The eyebrows were the subject of Kylie and Hailey's social networks.
Shortly after Selena's post, Kylie, a close friend of Hailey's, uploaded a selfie to her Instagram stories with the text "was this an accident?" while her eyebrows looked similar to the style that Selena had shared. Soon after, Kylie posted a screenshot of a FaceTime call she had with Hailey, in which they both zoomed in on the camera to highlight their eyebrows. Were they trying to mock Selena?

Selena's legion of fans appeared on social networks, and there was no shortage of those who accused Hailey and her friend of being "childish" and mocking. In a TikTok video discussing the matter, Kylie wrote: "This is overblown. We've never done anything shady against Selena or seen her eyebrow posts. They're creating something out of nothing. This is bulls—."
Even an old rivalry with Taylor Swift resurfaced amid this new drama.
Despite Hailey's attempts to assure everyone that nothing shady was going on, a video from a 2017 awards show resurfaced on TikTok where Hailey seemed to have made a disparaging gesture toward Taylor. Hailey can be seen faking nausea when the singer, who is one of Selena's best friends, is mentioned.

With the topic burning on TikTok, Selena commented with "I love you" on a video where a user implied that Hailey and Kylie were "aggressive girls." But Selena decided to put an end to the drama and pulled the plug. "This is nonsense. I am 30 years old. I am too big for this," she commented.
She even said she would take a break from social media, but in recent days she has posted photos with beauty tips and a selfie with actor Jesse Williams, with whom she stars on season three of the series Only Murders in the Building.
