Selena Gomez has been enjoying the single life for a few years. Up until recently, as far as anyone not in her immediate circle knew, she hadn’t dated anyone since she and The Weeknd broke up in 2017 after dating for 10 months. But, on January 16, 2023, it was reported that there is a new love interest in Selena’s life and that love interest is Drew Taggart.

As you may or may not know, Drew Taggart is a fellow musician. He is part of the EDM duo The Chainsmokers. Neither Selena nor Drew have confirmed that they are indeed an item, so we’ll have to wait and see if and when that happens. Selena and Drew Taggart are reportedly getting cozy in 2023.
On January 16, Us Weekly reported that Selena and The Chainsmokers musician Drew Taggart are dating. “They aren’t trying to hide their romance by sneaking around at members only clubs,” a source told the publication while adding that the two are “very casual and low-key.”
Selena and The Weeknd dated in 2017.
They dated for 10 months from January to October 2017. They were cute together, but it wasn’t meant to be a forever thing. After they split a source told Us Weekly that Selena had “no negative feelings” toward The Weeknd.
Selena dated Charlie Puth in 2016 and ‘it really messed’ him up.
Selena and Charlie collaborated on the duet “We Don’t Talk Anymore.” He described his relationship with Selena to Billboard as “Very short-lived, very small, but very impactful. And it really messed me up. I’m trying to put this the best way possible: It wasn’t like I was the only person on her mind. And I think I knew that going in—what I was getting myself into.”
She dated Samuel Krost for a short time.
The two have friends in common and they were seen holding hands in New York in late 2015 and again in 2016. “Selena is a real girl with a real heart and real feelings,” NYU graduate wrote in August 2016 in a since deleted social media post. “All you superficial who are just unhappy with your love lives, understand that love is real. Although we have ventured on separate paths, at least I know that love exists. I love you, Sel.”
She has ‘a thing with’ Zedd in 2015.
DJ Zedd and Selena dated in 2015. “I adore Zedd a lot and I definitely had a thing with him, which was nice,” Selena shared in June 2015 on a New Zealand radio show. The two collaborated on the song “I Want You to Know.”
Niall Horan from One Direction and Selena dated in 2015 and maybe again in 2019.
They were seen going on a few dates in December 2015 and it was reported that they were smooching at a friend’s birthday party that year. But when the rumors that they were dating again in 2019 happened, the Niall made it clear that he was “very much single.”
She had fun with Tommaso Chiabra in 2014.

Orlando Bloom and Selena were rumored to be dating.
Orlando Bloom and Selena were spotted near each other once in 2014 and another time in 2016 and the rumor mill turned them into a couple. I doubt they really were and in 2016, Katy Perry, who is still with Orlando Bloom, tweeted that the relationship rumors between Sel and Orlando were “dumb conspiracy.”
Selena and Justin Bieber were on and off again for what felt like forever.
They went public with their relationship in February 2011, they broke up on November 2012 they got back together in April 2013 and kept the on and off again thing going until finally ending things for good in March 2018. By September of 2018, Justin was married to Hailey Baldwin.
There were rumors she dated Cameron Michael Quiseng.
Neither Cameron Michael Quiseng, the bassist for Allstar Weekend, or Selena ever confirmed whether they were an item in 2010, but they sure did seem to like each other a lot.
She maybe dated Taylor Lautner in 2009.
Perhaps you recognize this young man from that whole Twilight movie series. It's still debatable whether Selena and Taylor actually dated in 2009 or not, but when she was asked about him she said, "Taylor has made me so happy. I didn't know I could be that happy. You probably see it in the pictures! I'm smiling so big. He's a great guy. But I am 100% single, and I'm going to keep it that way for a while."
