Celebrity babies born in 2021

Given current circumstances, it makes sense that a whole bunch of celebrities have had babies. Think about it—after the whole slowdown of business as usual that the entire world has gone through, many celebs had more time off than usual. Many celebrities took what was forced time off and used it as an opportunity to either start or expand their families. Or at least that's what it seems like, with so many new celebrity babies welcomed to the world in 2021!

It must be a huge challenge for celebrities to manage pregnancies and the duties of parenthood with their busy schedules of touring, filming, and public appearances, so this has kind of been an unprecedented time for celebrity baby-making. Now that we're nearing the end of the year, lots of celebrities have given birth to their babies already. So in case you missed it, we're sharing some of the celebs who've given birth so far in 2021, including lots of Latinx celebs.

Ximena Navarrete became a mom on December 8th.

Miss Universe 2010 Ximena Navarrete introduced her baby girl to the world with this beautiful photo. She accompanied the image with the following message: "¡Welcome, my baby! I love you with all my soul; (you are) my entire universe Thank you, God. #XimenaValladaresNavarrete 3.970 kg of pure love!"

Wilmer Valderrama and Amanda Pacheco are parents.

Wilmer Valderrama and his fiancée, Amanda Pacheco, became parents for the first time on February 15, 2021. They named their darling little girl Nakano Oceana Valderrama. The name was inspired by a trip that Wilmer and Amanda took to Japan, which happened to be the first time they said “I love you” to each other.

Macaulay Culkin and Brenda Song had a little boy.

Macaulay and Brenda welcomed son Dakota on April 5 in Los Angeles. “Very few things can get us out of the house and away from our son,” Macaulay wrote on Instagram when he shared a photo of himself and Brenda posing with Rampage, the Los Angeles Rams mascot.

Emma Stone had a baby in March.

The Cruella star gave birth to her first child with hubby Dave McCary on March 13. The baby’s name is Louise Jean McCary. The name is special for a couple of reasons. Emma’s middle name is Jean, and Emma’s mom’s middle name is Jean. Also, Emma’s grandmother’s name is Jean Louise, which is just Louise Jean in reverse.

Cardi B and Offset had their second baby together.

Less than three months after announcing her pregnancy publicly, rapper Cardi B gave birth to her second baby. She and her husband, fellow rapper Offset, with whom she shares daughter Kulture, welcomed a son on September 4, 2021. This is Offset's fifth child.

J Balvin is a new daddy!

Colombian reggaeton singer J Balvin is a first-time daddy. His model girlfriend, Valentina Ferrer, gave birth to their son on June 27, 2021. The singer has kept very quiet about the baby, but Valentina occasionally posts pictures and videos on her Instagram account.

Natti Natasha had her first baby.

Dominican pop star Natti Natasha gave birth to her first child, a little girl named Vida. Natti and her husband, Raphy Pina, struggled with infertility for some time before they had little Vida on May 22, 2021.

Lilliana Vazquez is a happy new mom.

E! News host and style expert Lilliana Vazquez got pregnant with her first baby late in 2020, after a six-year battle with infertility. She gave birth to a beautiful baby boy named Santiago on July 19, 2021.

Stephanie Beatriz welcomed a beautiful baby girl.

Funny lady Stephanie Beatriz, who starred in Brooklyn Nine-Nine and In the Heights, became a mamá this year as well. She gave birth to daughter Rosaline on August 22, 2021. "It is INCREDIBLE and HARD AF and BEAUTIFUL and EMOTIONAL, and I can't remember ever being this amazed and feeling so overwhelmingly full of gratitude," she wrote on Instagram.

Alexa PenaVega now has three little ones.

Spy Kids actor Alexa PenaVega, who is married to Carlos PenaVega of the band Big Time Rush, gave birth to her third child in May 2021. Her daughter Rio was a preemie who came more than a month before her due date, but thankfully the baby was able to go home just a week later.

Jason Derulo is a first-time dad.

Pop singer Jason Derulo is also a first-time daddy! His Instagram fitness model girlfriend, Jena Frumes, gave birth to their son on May 8, 2021. They named the baby Jason King because they wanted the name to "continue to thrive."

Zulay Henao and Kevin Connolly had a baby together.

Colombian actor Zulay Henao and her boyfriend, Entourage star Kevin Connolly, had their first child together in June 2021. It was "long & painful but it's the best thing I've ever done," she wrote of giving birth to their daughter, Kennedy Cruz, at the time.

Scarlett Johansson and Colin Jost kept her pregnancy a secret.

Actors Scarlett Johansson and Colin Jost took advantage of stay-at-home orders and social distancing and kept Scarlett's pregnancy a secret until after she delivered their son, Cosmo, on August 18, 2021. This is Scarlett's second child and Colin's first.

Halsey is enjoying new motherhood.

Singer Halsey and her partner, Alev Aydin, welcomed their first child, a baby girl named Ender Ridley, on July 14, 2021, and the "Bad at Love" singer seems to be absolutely enjoying new motherhood with her little one.

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry welcomed their second child.

Meghan Markle gave birth to her second child with Great Britain's Prince Harry on June 4, 2021. The little girl—who is named Lilibet Diana after Queen Elizabeth II and Harry's mother, Princess Diana—completes their family of four.

Erica Mena had her second child in 2021.

Love & Hip-Hop: New York star Erica Mena, who is Puerto Rican and Dominican, gave birth to her third child in June 2021. It's her second baby with rapper Safaree Samuels; however, she filed for divorce from him in May 2021, while she was still pregnant.

Ne-Yo is now a father of five.

It's business as usual for singer Ne-Yo and his wife, Crystal Renay, who welcomed their third baby together and the fifth for the singer in June 2021. Their little girl Isabella Rose is the newest member of their blended family.

Nick Cannon had three babies in 2021.

Mariah Carey's ex-husband Nick Cannon welcomed not one, not two, but three new babies in 2021. Sounds impossible, but one of the babies has a different mother, and Nick now has seven children in all. He had twins named Zillion and Zion with DJ Abby De La Rosa on June 14 and a singlet named Zen with model Alyssa Scott on June 23.

Gal Gadot is now a mom of three.

Wonder Woman actor Gal Gadot now has three gorgeous daughters. She gave birth to her third child with husband Jason Varsano in June 2021. "My sweet family I couldn't be more grateful and happy (and tired ) we are all so excited to welcome Daniella into our family," she wrote on Instagram.

Pete Buttigieg didn't get the presidency, but he got two babies.

Former US presidential candidate Pete Buttigieg didn't make it to the White House, but his consolation prize was pretty awesome. He and husband Chasten welcomed babies Penelope Rose and Joseph August via adoption in August 2021.

Glee actor Matthew Morrison now has two kids.

Former Glee actor Matthew Morrison's wife, Renee Puente, gave birth to their second child on June 28, 2021. Their little girl, Phoenix Monroe, joins their son, Revel, in their adorable family of four.

Kirsten Dunst had a secret pregnancy as well.

Actors Kirsten Dunst and Jesse Plemons welcomed their second child together around June 2021. The couple are very private and kept the pregnancy secret until Kirsten appeared heavily pregnant in the March 2021 issue of W Magazine.

Amber Heard became a mom via surrogate.

Aquaman actor Amber Heard welcomed her first child, a little girl named Oonagh Paige, via surrogacy on April 8, 2021. Amber, who emerged from a bitter divorce from actor Johnny Depp in 2017, is a single mom by choice.
