World’s best tipper leaves thousands of dollars extra, proves good people still exist

Looks like the holidays have come early for some very lucky bartenders in Ogden, Utah, thanks to one extremely generous customer!

According to the Standard Examiner, the man, who has remained unidentified, doled out thousands of dollars in tips last Friday and Saturday nights at two separate bars. Is that amazing or what?!

Apparently, he first shared his wealth at a local bar named Brewskis last Friday. While paying his $214 tab, the man __left an astonishing $5,000 for gratuit__y. Yes…Five. Thousand. Dollars!

As if that wasn't unbelievable enough, the same guy reportedly pulled a similar stunt the following night at Alleged, another bar just down the street, this time tipping an extra $1,000 on a bill of $49. My god, this guy is like a real-life Santa Claus!

The tip was so much higher than expected that employees at Alleged confirmed it with him several times and then had to bill it as a separate purchase because their register only allows for tips of up to 100 per cent. "He was wanting to tip, like, 2,000 percent," bar owner Jared Allen told the Standard-Examiner. "So he tipped 100 per cent, and then had us list the rest of the tip as a purchase."

The second tip was split among three bartenders and a sever working the floor, while the one at the first bar was reportedly earned by only one employee. Wow! Talk about having a good day at work!

It's pretty incredible to hear that this guy is doing all of this, for no other reason than to be kind and put a smile on someone's face.  Not many people–even those who could afford to do so–would do the same. In fact, most don't. But it's good to see that there are some special individuals out there who are willing to go out of their way to make other people's days, just because they can.
