For all the chicas out there that have gotten a Brazilian wax simply because you though that's what your guy preferred, you should probably know that most men aren't as into "the all-off" look as much as you thought. Surprising—I know! A new study conducted by hair removal company, Nad's, found that a majority of men don't actually prefer a Brazilian wax, but would rather see your lady parts "trimmed and tidy." I don't know about you, but not even that isn't going to convince me to give up my hairless vagina!

Out of 1,000 men surveyed, 43 percent said they preferred a woman's hair natural with a "Bermuda triangle," 17 percent liked a "landing strip," 15 percent said they preferred a heart shape (weird I know), and only 12 percent preferred a completely hairless vagina. Who would have thought?
Well this is good news for all those women who have never really felt comfortable with the idea of undergoing a Brazilian wax. The pressure is finally off! But for the rest of us, I'm not sure this information is going to make much of a difference. I'll admit I've never actually had a Brazilian wax done, only because I'm a total punk when it comes to pain. But I also haven't rocked a bush in ages. I've been shaving my vagina completely for as long as I can remember and the idea of growing out even a little "landing strip," makes me kind of uncomfortable.
Now, I'm not suggesting everyone be a fan of hairless vaginas. To each his or her own, right? I'm just saying that the fact that most men prefer a little hair is not enough to get me to grow mine out. And I'm sure as hell not going through the trouble of getting a little bit of pubic hair trimmed into a heart-shape. Seriously, who has time for that?
No study out there is going to speak for all men. While some might find a hairless vagina kind of baby-ish, others dig the whole completely bare look. It's all a matter of preference, no? But just make whatever you're doing to it, whether you're getting a Brazilian wax or going au naturale, that you're doing it because YOU like it. And sorry fellas, but I prefer mine without a single strand of hair!
