The April issue of Vogue stars First Lady Michelle Obama in a classy blue sleeveless Reed Krakoff dress on its cover, showing off her signature buff arms. The takeaway from the interview inside is not so much that she's fit and stylish (which she so is!), it's the heart of the article in which the First Lady emphasizes the importance of her family, especially 14-year-old Malia and 11-year-old Sasha, that makes us love her more.
I honestly can't get enough of Michelle Obama. From busting moves with Jimmy Fallon, showcasing stylish clothes, or her campaign, Let's Move, to decrease childhood obesity, Michelle Obama is seriously the coolest FLOTUS we've had in a long time.

Barack and Michelle Obama made a decision to make sure the integrity of their family was unaffected by his job as President. She tells Vogue:
"Our job is, first and foremost, to make sure our family is whole. You know, we have small kids; they're growing every day. But I think we were both pretty straightforward when we said, 'Our No. 1 priority is making sure that our family is whole.' "
A pact to keep the family bond strong is admirable, given both of their travel schedules and meetings. However, I agree that family had to be a priority. I can't imagine how alienating and awkward it must be to grow up in the White House. And to know that your parents want to normalize that experience as much as possible and not miss a moment during Sasha and Malia's formative years is crucial.
Michelle tells the magazine that 90 percent of what she discusses with her husband, the President, is about the girls. After all, I'm sure these girls, though they're in a bubble, share similar experiences other teens and tweens do–crushes, trying on makeup, photobombing their parents' kiss. There are also the hardships of navigating friendships and a changing body.
I'm already a huge Michelle Obama fan, but the Vogue article takes my fandom to another level!
