Just like it does with your skin, when you exercise it increases the blood flow that floods not only our cells but our hair follicles. This not only promotes healthy, shiner hair but it can also stimulate hair growth. Many women experience hair loss due to DHT, a hormone that prevents hair growth. Exercise can help lower levels of this hormone that causes shedding and loss.
