8-year-old girl dresses as different female icon every day, is way cooler than all of us

Okay, it's official: Omaha student Stella Ehrhart is the coolest eight-year-old ever. Why? The third grader picks out her outfits every morning by choosing a new notable figure from the book 100 Most Important Women of the 20th Century and copying their style each day. Wow, that's one creative kid!

Recently, the young girl has used various items from her own closet to emulate iconic females like Billie Holiday (a black dress and red paper flower in her hair), Grace Kelly (pink satin lace), and Burmese opposition leader Aung San Suu Kyi (a hat a relative brought her from Vietnam). Talk about a wide range of role models!

And what makes the whole thing even more amazing? Ehrhart has reportedly been doing this every single day for an entire YEAR. In fact, her teachers often use her outfits as means for teaching the rest of the class! "We'd have to get on the computer and figure out who she was," her second-grade teacher, Shannon Roeder, told Omaha World-Herald.

But while everyone seems to enjoy her costumes, after the upcoming holidays, Ehrhart is apparently going to take a break and begin wearing a school uniform every day.

I can't say I blame her! I'm amazed and impressed that she's even managed to pull it off for an entire year. That's some serious dedication right there. I mean, for me, just figuring out a Halloween costume is a nightmare. Normally, I end up putting a pair of store-bought animal ears on my head and calling it day. I don't think I'd ever be able to come up with a new outfit every single day, like Ehrhart.

It's great that this little girl is so imaginative and that her teachers, parents, and peers have embraced and encouraged her creativity. Maybe one day, she'll become a costume or fashion designer!
