I love celebrating Father's Day with my dad because, mostly, it's one of the few times that I get to cook steak for him and get away with it. Typically, at least in my house, it's my mom cooking and we all try to eat a little healthier these days, so there just isn't a lot of red meat going around. When it comes time for Father's Day, though, I want my Cuban dad to be able to indulge in his favorite.
This year I'm looking to make something new. So I've decided to look up some delectable steak recipes on YouTube and learn to make bistec de palomilla (a Cuban classic), churrasco with chimichurri sauce (an Argentinian dish) and, of course, Mexican steak fajitas. Doesn't all of that sound good?
