Gianna Bryant would have turned 14 on Friday, May 1. Vanessa and Kobe Bryant's second daughter was born on May 1, 1996, and died in a helicopter crash in January 2020 along with her famous dad. She was just 13 years old at the time. Gigi's life was full of color and vibrancy and that gorgeous big smile of hers was often featured in her parents' social media accounts.
The Bryant family lovingly documented the times they spent together and the mom and dad made sure to share adorable posts of all four of their baby girls. Vanessa has beautiful selfies she took with her little one, while Kobe often shared pics of them bonding over their love for basketball.

Gigi was a rising basketball star and seeing her in her uniform reminded us of a young Kobe dominating the court. Not only was she a star basketball player, but she was also a loving sister and daughter. Gigi grew up closely with her big sister Natalia, who is three years older. The two sisters were inseparable growing up, and the pics the parents have shared proved it. Kobe and Gigi did a lot of basketball activities together.
The dad and daughter duo were inseparable! She was a mini-Kobe, for sure. They snapped selfies during a University of Connecticut basketball game in March 2019. Vanessa honored her daughter when she was an honorary WNBA draftee in 2020.
