Disturbing T-shirt for little girls pulled from Amazon & how did it even get made?

Sadly, we come bearing news of yet another instance of vulgarity involving children. In this case, it involves an insanely inappropriate T-shirt for little girls that was being sold on Amazon. The T-shirt in question was emblazoned with the words "Daddy's Little Slut" across the front. Yes, you read that right. Can you believe that nonsense? In what world would any rational person want to buy that kind of T-shirt for a child? Apparently, this world.

The "Daddy's Little Slut" T-shirt was  first offered on Amazon in June 2019 for $18 by Onlybabycare, a third-party retailer. Before you rush over to Amazon to see if the foul T-shirt is still being sold, we are happy to report that thanks to the uproar caused by folks on Twitter, the shirt has been pulled.

But why? Why would anybody want to sell or purchase something this awful? Take a look for yourself.

This is the offending T-shirt.

Amazon

As you can see, the T-shirt that Onlybabycare was peddling on Amazon was definitely intended to be worn by a child. It is being modeled by a child, and it was offered in children's sizes. Sick, sick, sick!

Twitter users started a campaign to get the shirt removed.

Images of the shirt started circulating on Twitter this month in an effort to get Amazon to pull the shirt. Why it wasn't pulled immediately after even just one complaint is beyond us.

Amazon did finally remove the shirt, but the seller is still selling other questionable items.

“All sellers must follow our selling guidelines and those who do not will be subject to action including potential removal of their account,” an Amazon spokesperson told The Independent. “The product in question is no longer available.”

And what about the actual seller?

OK, the T-shirt in children's sizes was removed, but at no consequence to the seller, it appears. Onlybabycare is still up and running on Amazon with items like the "Black Guns Matter" hat above and a T-shirt for little boys that reads, "She's eating for two and I'm drinking for three!" Perhaps these items are not as inappropriate as the "Daddy's Little Slut" T-shirt, but they clearly show that this company's entire inventory should be reviewed to see if it is actually following Amazon's guidelines.

This isn't the first time Amazon has dropped the ball when it comes to kids products.

Amazon needs to be better at reviewing what items it offers through third-party sellers. Not so long ago, a baby onesie was being sold on Amazon with the words "Daddy's Little F**k Toy" on it. How do you even begin to get into how wrong that product and messaging is? Sexual abuse and pedophilia are not a joke.
