This is how Khloé Kardashian & Tristan Thompson are handling baby True’s custody

They're keeping the peace. Khloé Kardashian and Tristan Thompson's romantic relationship might be over, but they're still a team when it comes to their daughter, True Thompson. The former couple called it quits in February after the basketball player was involved in yet another cheating scandal, and now Khloé is moving forward and focusing solely on raising her little girl.

A source spoke to Entertainment Tonight and shared how the former couple plans to move forward in terms of co-parenting their child, and it seems like Tristan will still be involved in the baby's life. The insider revealed that due to his demanding schedule as a Cleveland Cavaliers player, most of the child care duties will reportedly fall on the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star for now.

Khloé and True will be staying in California, while Tristan mainly lives in Cleveland for work.

Since the split, the Good American founder has been sharing the cutest Instagram pics and videos of the time she is spending with her kid. "Khloé has True for the majority of the time," the source told ET. "Khloe's able to bring True or be with her at work, where Tristan can't. Also, True spends a lot of time with her big family and all the cousins are in L.A. so it makes the most sense for her to stay with Khloé."

The reality star still wants Tristan to be part of their daughter's life, no matter what.

"Khloé and Tristan may have their issues, but Khloé will never deny Tristan a chance to spend time with his daughter," the insider continued. "Things may change in the future, but for now Khloé and Tristan are on the same page with True being with Khloé for most of the time."

Khloé is focusing on herself and her baby after the breakup, and there's no reconciliation in the future.

"Khloé is getting better with every day that passes," a source previously told the outlet. "Khloé and Tristan are still communicating and always will. Khloé is very big about, 'I'm having the father of [my] child staying in her life no matter how bad things get.'" However, even if they're still talking regarding their parenting duties, the couple "aren't getting back together and Khloé knows she needs to move on."

Khloé has been spending time with her sisters and friends following their split.

It was reported on February 19 that Khloé and Tristan had gone their separate ways over his "hookup" with Kylie Jenner's best friend Jordyn Woods. Jordyn said they only kissed, and in an explosive tweet, Khloé blamed the young model for breaking up her family, which she later took back.

"This has been an awful week & I know everyone is sick of hearing about it all (as am I). I’m a rollercoaster of emotions & have said things I shouldn’t have. Honestly, Tristan cheating on me & humiliating me, wasn’t such a shock as the first time," she tweeted at the time, referencing Tristan's first cheating scandal from 2018. "What’s been harder & more painful is being hurt by someone so close to me. Someone whom I love & treat like a little sister. But Jordyn is not to be blamed for the breakup of my family. This was Tristan’s fault."

Khloé added, "I have to move on with my life & count my blessings, my family, my health & my beautiful baby True." We wish her all the best and hope that she and Tristan do what's best for their child.
