Another one on the way! Congratulations are in order for Kim Kardashian and Kanye West. The couple are reportedly expanding their family and expecting their fourth child together. Sources confirmed the news to Us Weekly who reported on Wednesday, January 2, that they are having another baby via surrogate.

The couple, who welcomed their third child, 11-month-old daughter Chicago, in January also through surrogacy, are said to be welcoming a baby boy into their clan in May. The rapper and the KKW Beauty founder are also parents to their 5-year-old daughter North and 3-year-old son Saint.
Saint is going to have a little baby brother to play with!
An insider told the magazine that the baby will arrive “in very early May." In August 2018, Us reported that a source said the pair had "one last embryo left,” and that it was a male. The publication reported that the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star, who comes from a large family, has “always wanted four kids.”
Kim has been open about being nervous during her first experience with surrogacy.
Kim dealt with placenta accreta during her first two pregnancies with North and Saint. She revealed that her health condition made it difficult for her to carry another child, but she worried she wouldn't have an instant bond with the baby like she did with the first two. “I think I was so nervous to have a surrogate and to have that connection that God was like, ‘I’m going to make her look just like you,’" she said about Chicago on Ashley Graham's podcast Pretty Big Deal in October 2018.
She later said that going down the surrogacy route was her "best decision."
“I would have maybe one more. I really, really enjoyed the surrogacy process. I will say, when it came to the breastfeeding time, I was like, ‘Okay, this is the best decision I ever made,'" she said on Live With Ryan and Kelly in May 2018. “It’s a game changer, having to not go through [nursing] every few hours, I can spend so much more time with the older kids and getting them used to the baby.”
Kanye has said he wants seven children.
Kim revealed in an October 2018 episode of her reality show that her husband, whom she married in May 2014 in a gorgeous Italian ceremony, wants seven kids. “Kanye wants to have more, though. He’s been harassing me,” she said to her to her friend, Larsa Pippen. “He wants like seven. He’s like stuck on seven.” Seven is quite a lot! But with the upcoming arrival of this fourth child, they will now be a beautiful family of six–and more than halfway to Kanye's goal!
