There's a royal baby on the way! Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have announced that they are having a baby, and their first child together is coming so soon! Kensington Palace announced the happy news on behalf of the royal couple on Monday, October 15, via Instagram.

"Their Royal Highnesses The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are very pleased to announce that The Duchess of Sussex is expecting a baby in the Spring of 2019," the statement read. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex tied the knot in May and rumors have been swirling in the past few weeks about whether or not they were expecting a bundle of joy. There was a theory floating around the internet that said Meghan is expecting based on her clothes and hair choices, and the speculations turned out to be right all along!
The adorable photo showed the parents-to-be smiling from ear to ear.
"Their Royal Highnesses have appreciated all of the support they have received from people around the world since their wedding in May and are delighted to be able to share this happy news with the public," the statement continued. They are so cute!
The couple, who got married in May, are currently in Australia for a royal tour.
Pregnant Meghan will be traveling with her husband around Australia. This is their second official trip as a married couple. During their tour, they'll visit Australia, New Zealand, Tonga and Fiji. According to reports, Meghan consulted with a doctor prior to embarking on the trip while pregnant.
The royal family are all excited for the new addition to their family.
Meghan's mother, Doria Ragland, is "very happy about the lovely news and she looks forward to welcoming her first grandchild," a Palace spokesperson told The Telegraph. "The Queen, Duke of Edinburgh, Prince of Wales, Duchess of Cornwall, and Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are delighted for the couple and were able to congratulate them on Friday at the wedding in person."
Speculation about a pregnancy grew even bigger after Princess Eugenie's wedding.
Meghan arrived at Windsor Castle for Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank's wedding on Friday, October 12, wearing a navy blue dress and coat by Givenchy. She didn't remove the coat, which led people to believe she was hiding her baby bump. While we understand that when to announce your pregnancy is a personal choice, we appreciate Meghan and Harry for adding a bit of happy news to this world. Congratulations to them both and we look forward to meeting their little one!
