Moms are awesome, and the fashion industry is celebrating them in the best way. Valeria Garcia made history at London Fashion Week by wearing a breast pump created by a company called Elvie on the runway. The model welcomed her second baby, Anton, in June and proudly showed off the wearable devices, which were tucked inside her bra at the Marta Jakubowski Spring 2019 show.

The Elvie Pump, which also made its debut on the runway, provides moms with a modern way to pump that is both discreet and convenient. The device syncs to smartphones and moms can take care of business while at work or anywhere else, just like Valeria did. The designer and the company partnered to raised awareness on how difficult it is for new moms who have to go back to work post-pregnancy and still need to feed their babies.
"Being a new mother can be incredibly stressful. We spoke to a lot of women about the struggles they experience post-pregnancy and it became obvious that outdated pumping technology was a real obstacle for women wanting to provide breast milk for their baby," Evie founder Tania Boler told the Evening Standard newspaper. "We designed Elvie Pump to make breast pumping as easy, streamlined and flexible as possible for moms."
The model had a calm and relaxed expression while showing off the gadget on the runway.
She wore the devices inside her gorgeous black lace bra, and it's almost not even noticeable! The company shared the pics on Instagram and captioned it: "We launched our latest innovation Elvie Pump at London Fashion Week today! Model and mom of 2 Valeria sported Elvie Pump under her blazer jacket throughout @martajakubowski SS19 show to reveal she was wearing Elvie Pump the whole time!"
They also shared a video to promote the product and it is adorable!
The clip shows exactly how the product works and looks (no need to plug it into anything!) and the concept of the clip will absolutely put a smile on your face.

The company is marketing it as "the world’s first silent wearable breast pump" and says it "fits in your bra, and your life." The device seems so convenient and easy to use and the wait list is now open for moms looking to make their breast feeding experience a little more pleasant.
New York Fashion Week also had a special moment when model Slick Woods went into labor backstage at Rihanna's Savage x Fenty show.
The gorgeous model was far into her pregnancy when she walked wearing lingerie for the singer's New York Fashion Week show on Wednesday, September 13. She went into labor backstage and she shared a strong message for moms everywhere on Instagram. "A lewk, 14 hours of labor, and A king is born. This is the face of a WOMAN IN LABOR, we hold s–t down most of us don’t even know how much we’re going through," she captioned a photo of herself on the runway cradling her belly. "I’m here to say I CAN DO WHATEVER THE F–K I WANT WHENEVER THE F–K I WANT AND SO CAN YOU."
Earlier this year, another model made headlines for breastfeeding her baby on the runway.
Mara Martin strutted her stuff down the catwalk at Miami Swim Week, while cradling her 5-month-old daughter while feeding her. While she received some criticism, most people were rooting for her and supporting her bold move.
