Fergie just gave newly single moms everywhere the perfect answer for when people ask if they're dating again. The singer has been focusing on her career and raising her 4-year-old son, Axl, after splitting from her husband of eight years, Josh Duhamel, in 2017.

The Four host and Josh have continued to coparent their son after their split and she revealed they will be celebrating his fifth birthday soon with a superhero-themed party! Since their split, they have both continued to be super supportive of each other and have said nothing but great things about one another.
While she chatted with Entertainment Tonight, she was asked if she will include dating into her plans for her time off this summer–but she quickly shut it down in the best way. While the actor has already started seeing other people since the marriage came to an end, Fergie revealed there's only one man that she's focusing on right now.

Now that she's wrapping up the second season of her show The Four, she's focusing on her son. "I'll tell you right now, I'm play dating–with other parents, that's what I'm doing!" she said with a laugh. "Just finishing The Four, I'm all about this. We're going to have a big party to watch the final episode and I'm super excited about that. Just being with my kid, being home and growing where I'm planted."
Axl is turning 5 at the end of August!
Fergie said her ex is in charge of throwing the big party! "This year dad is gonna have the birthday party at his house," she said. "Last year was a pirate party. This year, we're thinking superhero party because every single week he wants to be a superhero."
Fergie says she plays dress up with Axl all the time.
Axl is currently obsessed with The Incredibles but his mom found a special trick for dressing up with her kid. "Right now he's loving Dash and I got Elastigirl pajamas, so I don't have to wear the catsuit around the house. I kind of got sick of wearing catsuits of everything because who wants to wear a catsuit all the time?" she told ET. "So this is the trick parents, get the pajamas of the superhero so they think you're dressing up and you are, but you're comfy!"
Fergie & Josh have been coparenting since announcing their separation in 2017.
The pair announced in September 2017 that they had separated earlier that year, after eight years of marriage. The former couple welcomed Axl in 2013, and he's their only child. The Transformers actor began dating Eiza González in March but they called it quits just five months later.
