He's here! America Ferrera has welcomed her first child. The Superstore actress and her husband, Ryan Piers Williams, announced their son Sebastian's arrival on Tuesday, May 29, via Instagram.

The first time parents met when he cast the actress in his student film while they were attending the University of Southern California. The couple announced they were engaged in June 2010 and tied the knot a year later in an intimate ceremony.
They revealed that they were expecting in December 2017, and prior to the baby's birth, they had been documenting their pregnancy journey on social media. The pair have shared photos of her baby bump and the celebrations while anticipating his arrival.
The pair announced their baby's birth with the sweetest pic.
"When 2 become 3…Welcome Sebastian Piers Williams – aka Baz! Mom, Dad, and Baby are happy, healthy and totally in love! ," the Ugly Betty star captioned the snap of them holding their child's tiny foot in their hands.
Their pregnancy announcement was the cutest.
The mom-to-be at the time shared a sweet selfie with her husband on New Year’s Eve 2017, wearing 2018 glasses to welcome the new year. She was holding a baby onesie with the words, “Más besos (por favor).” She captioned the adorable photo: “We’re welcoming one more face to kiss in 2018! Wishing you #MásBesos in the New Year! #babybesos #HappyNewYear .”
Ryan shared the same photo and captioned it: “Making room for new and beautiful things to come in 2018
.”
Her former costars welcomed the baby news with open arms.
“Starting the New Year off with blessings from my Sisterhood. We’ve got work to do for the next generation. Let’s get to it. #TIMESUP,” she captioned a post with her Sister of the Traveling Pants costars Blake Lively, Amber Tamblyn and Alexis Bledel in January.
She was sure she wanted to give her child a regular name.
Just days after her pregnancy announcement, the End of Watch star made an appearance on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert and shared her thought process on selecting a name for her baby. "You are about to be a mother and you gotta name your child. You’re named America yourself. […] Would you recommend naming a child after a land mass or an IKEA,” the late night talk show host asked.
“Um, I’m going to go with no,” she responded with a laugh. “Look, I love my name now, but growing up with the name America is not easy and I don't want to put that on my child because I know what that feels like. I’m going to go with something that is more of like a name.”
No gender reveal parties for them!
The couple, who tied the knot in 2011, opted out of revealing their baby’s gender prior to his arrival.
The pair had an adorable baby shower surrounded by friends and family.
Ferrera shared a series of Instagram pics from the celebration, which took place at Beauty & Essex Los Angeles in March. “No poopie diaper games here. Just dancing, drinking (water for me ), and some of the people we love to celebrate the little human we can’t wait to meet,” she captioned the post.
Amber Tamblyn helped plan her second baby shower.
"Baby Showers are for Practicing,” she captioned the snap of her with Amber Tamblyn. “So insanely grateful for the village of women I have in my life who have shown up to love, support and celebrate (all of me) in style as I transition into motherhood. Boundless gratitude to my boos @todaytamara & @amberrosetamblyn for planning a magical and powerful celebration. And to @samlooksatthis for the gorgeous vagina.”
She had a mini 'Ugly Betty' reunion at the celebration.
The actress shared an Instagram photo of her baby shower in April and she was hugging her costars Vanessa Williams, Becki Newton and Judith Light from the hit ABC series.
She captioned it: “#UglyBettyFamily excited to add a new member to the mix. Love these women beyond! #babyshower.”
