This is how Khloe Kardashian plans to spend her first Mother’s Day

Khloe Kardashian is ready to celebrate what will be her "most special" Mother's Day yet: her first one ever. The new mom has opened up about motherhood for the first time since announcing the name of her baby girl, True Thompson, on April 16. And, how does she plan to spend her special day?

The reality TV star had remained pretty quiet following the birth of her daughter and amid boyfriend Tristan Thompson's cheating scandal. But she recently took to her app to share some Mother's Day gifts ideas with her app's subscribers and couldn't help but gush about motherhood.

Khloe still cannot believe she's a mom!

"This Mother's Day will be the most special yet!" she told subscribers on her app. "I still can't believe I'm a mom —it feels like such an honor. Now it feels even more important to honor all the amazing women in my family!"

So, how and where is Khloe spending her first Mother's Day?

"She’ll be with her family for Mother’s Day," a source told Entertainment Tonight. "This is a very special Mother’s Day in the Kardashian/Jenner family. For Khloe and Kylie, it’s their first one, and it’s Kim’s first Mother's Day with Chicago."

The source also said that Khloe and her NBA star boyfriend have not been spending too much time together.

The power forward for the Cleveland Cavaliers has been traveling a lot, as his team is currently in the NBA playoffs.

"The time alone is good for her, she's very independent and having this space is essential for her to work through everything," the source said, adding that at this point nobody really knows whether Khloe is planning to leave Tristan after the cheating scandal and moving back to Los Angeles.

"If they work through all this, they still have a long way to go to get back a solid foundation," the source added.

The members of the Kardashian-Jenner clan have always supported each other and her family is rooting for Khloe.

"Like, I don’t even know how to describe it, other than it’s just so fucked up," Kim Kardashian told Ellen Degeneres during an interview that aired Monday. "We really were rooting for Khloé. And we still are. She’s so strong and she’s doing the best she can. It’s a really sad situation all over. I kind of made this rule with my brother: "If there’s a baby involved, I’m not going talk. I’m going to keep it cute and keep it classy and not talk too bad on [the parent]. I’m going to try not to say anything too negative because one day, True is going to see this, and it’s just, you know, so messed up."

The day after Kim's interview on The Ellen Show aired, we learned that Kim and Tristan had stopped following each other on social media. However, the basketball star is still following the other members of the family.

Niether Khloe nor Tristan has spoken publicly about his cheating scandal.

The only thing we know so far is that Khloe has not dumped Tristan because of the baby.

"If there wasn’t a child involved, Khloe would have kicked Tristan to the curb," a source reportedly told Us Weekly. "She’s not ready to make a decision. [And] seeing him with their daughter only complicates things."

Well, I'm sure she'll figure it out with time.
