Earlier this week, news broke out that Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are expecting their third baby. The surrogate they hired to carry their child is officially pregnant. Now we're hearing that the sex of the baby has also been confirmed. That's right, now we know if North and Saint can expect a new baby sister or baby brother!

According to TMZ, Kim and Kanye will be expecting a baby girl through their surrogate. How exciting! TMZ also reports that the surrogate the couple hired is an African American woman in her 20s. She's been married for five years, is supposedly in a solid marriage, and has two young children. Apparently she's also a college graduate.
Kim and Kanye are totally dedicated to making sure the surrogate is in perfect health. Kim even has her on a strict regimen and diet for the duration of the diet. And according to Hollywood Life, Kim also hired 24 hour security for the surrogate for her safety.

"But everyone knows the security is really there to keep an eye on the surrogate when Kim can't," a source told Hollywood Life. "Kim trusts her but she still wants to be sure she's not taking any risks that could hurt the baby, she wants the security there to have eyes on her at all times."
Honestly, you really can't blame Kim for being so paranoid about the surrogate's safety and health. Kim has opened up about her own health scares in the past and how they have kept her from carrying a baby the third time around.
With her 4-year-old daughter North, Kim experienced everything from preeclampsia during pregnancy and then placenta accreta during labor. Even her labor with her 1 ½ year-old son Saint was complicated because he was breeched.
Kim's doctors have advised her not to get pregnant again which is why she and Kanye decided to hire a surrogate. Between having difficult pregnancies and her traumatic near-death experience with the Paris robbery last year, it only makes sense she take necessary precautions to make sure her second daughter is safe and sound.
